QLED TVs, even the best models with full-array local dimming, cannot fully eliminate light leakage between zones. If you prioritize absolute picture quality, deep black levels, and viewing angle performance, and you watch most of your content in a dim or controlled room, an OLED TV is the superior choice. It excels for movies, HDR gaming, and critical viewing. For living rooms with large windows, daytime sports watching, or family rooms where multiple viewers sit at various angles, a high-end QLED with mini-LED backlighting can deliver a more satisfying experience with its high brightness and lower risk of burn-in.

Budget also plays a role. If you want a 75-inch or larger TV without spending thousands, QLED is the only realistic option. If you can invest in a premium 65-inch or 77-inch set, OLED provides unmatched image fidelity. Both technologies continue to improve, and the competition benefits all consumers. Ultimately, the best TV is the one that fits your specific viewing habits, room conditions, and budget.
