Chandrababu gives good news to A.B. Venkateshwara Rao.

In Andhra Pradesh, former Intelligence Chief and senior IAS officer A.B. Venkateshwara Rao has received another piece of good news from the coalition government. A.B. had previously served as the Intelligence Chief under Chandrababu's government, but after the YSRCP government came into power, he was suspended on various allegations. Since then, he has faced numerous challenges. However, with the coalition government now in power, A.B. has been receiving a series of positive developments.

The previous YSRCP government had suspended A.B. Venkateshwara Rao, accusing him of attempting to purchase surveillance equipment from Israel for monitoring the opposition. Despite obtaining relief from the courts, his suspension was reinstated, and during the suspension period, his salary and allowances were withheld. He later went up to the Supreme Court, where he was cleared of the charges. However, the pending payments for his salary and allowances during the suspension period were still not cleared.

Now, with the coalition government in power, efforts have begun to rectify the mistakes made in A.B. Venkateshwara Rao's case. As part of this process, the coalition government has withdrawn the charges filed against him by the previous YSRCP government. Furthermore, the coalition government has issued orders to regularize the periods during which he was suspended under the YSRCP regime. As a result, A.B. Venkateshwara Rao will soon receive the pending salary and allowances for the suspension period.
